Hello - The AIA has two Request for Proposals that may be of interest.  One deals with strategic review, analysis and integration of sustainability and environmental goals ($20,000-$30,000 - due Sept. 14, 2020 to melissamorancy at aia.org) and Next2Lead is looking for expertise in leadership development to design a curriculum for AIA association leadership for ethnically diverse women ($50,000 - due Oct. 15, 2020, to diversity at aia.org). RFP #1-Architect.Climate.Equity:   In light of the current pandemic, climate crisis, and racial injustice, the AIA has immediate need for a consultant(s) to review some of our policy platforms and tools and provide us with an integrated view that we can use internally with staff and with our members to address these critical issues. A budget of $20,000-$30,000 is available for this project. The project is expected to be completed by December 31, 2020.  The deadline to apply is September 14, 2020 to Melissa Morancy, Assoc. RFP #2:  Next 2 Lead is an AIA Leadership Pilot program for AIA members who are emerging, ethnically diverse women in architecture with a minimum of five years in the profession. The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is dedicated to equity, diversity, and inclusion in the field of architecture and throughout society. This pilot program will focus on Association Leadership and will be designed to address the lack of racially and ethnically diverse women serving in leadership positions within this professional association, the AIA.
